I first picked up a “real” digital camera in 2014 after enrolling on a 10-week photography course at Darlington College, and I was hooked immediately!
I love to create images around the Tees Valley, Yorkshire Dales, the north east coastline, and sometimes further afield.
I photograph traditional landscapes & seascapes, as well as creating more abstract images using intentional camera movement (ICM). I believe this simplifies the image, removing the context, which allows me to focus more on colours, shapes and textures.
I created the idea of “Unrushed Images” to remind me to slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the moment.
